Blended Learning
KIPP SHARP is developing a blended learning program! Blended learning is a formal education program in which a student learns at least in part through technology, digital content and online media with some element of student control over time, place, path, or pace. Students at KIPP SHARP have access to iPads, Chromebooks, and a fully furnished computer lab. Technology is increasingly being leveraged on our campus to differentiate for the needs of each individual student, as well as increase student engagement in learning.
To learn more about the fundamentals of Blended Learning and see how well it’s working for our KIPP friends on the West Coast, please watch the video below.
At KIPP SHARP, our students have access to a variety of Literacy and Mathematics applications and online programs to make learning more accessible and fun. We are excited to offer ST Math, a robust online math program that encourages problem solving through interactive, well designed games.
For information on the research behind ST Math, how the process works, and the success other districts have seen with it, please enjoy the video below.
